Solus was another student game, which I worked on with the same people from SpectroRun. In it, you are Pioneer 7, one of seven Pioneers sent out from Earth to find new planets to settle humanity on after it became clear we were unavoidably going to wreck the old one. You gradually lose contact with the other Pioneers, then eventually with ground control, and eventually die alone, stranded on an alien planet, leaving humanity doomed. As such, the game's music is full of melancholy synths and crushing depression. Fun stuff!
